Mykonos in the off season, and somehow colder than Mykonos in the off season, and somehow colder than I expected. The wind was real that day, but it made the streets quieter and slower…in the best way.

These whitewashed buildings are beautiful, but they also carry history. In the 18th and 19th centuries, Mykonos was an important trading port and played a role in the Greek War of Independence. There is something powerful about walking through a place that has been lived in and fought for long before it became a postcard.

Cold, windblown, and still completely worth it. I would go back in a heartbeat.

Would you visit when it is quieter like this?
This is your sign to finally book that Mykonos tri This is your sign to finally book that Mykonos trip 🇬🇷✨

There’s always a reason to wait… but life is happening now.

Beaches 🌊 or nightlife 💃🏽 — which are you choosing?
This was such a lazy day in Mykonos. 🇬🇷 I woke u This was such a lazy day in Mykonos. 🇬🇷

I woke up late, had zero plans, and decided room service on the patio was honestly the only move.

Staying at Super Paradise Hotel in the Executive Suite meant this was my view while I ate. Blue water 🌊 , a little breeze, and total quiet. I genuinely don’t think I’ve ever had room service with a better backdrop.

Everything was so good, but the tuna tartare was the standout. 😋 Absolutely delicious. I ate slow, sat there way longer than I planned to, and let the day just be a day.

Best room service view of my life!
There’s no place I’d rather be on this cold winter There’s no place I’d rather be on this cold winter night than back in Mykonos! 🇬🇷

We got to the Windmills of Mykonos at the best time. The giant tour buses from the cruise hadn’t arrived, so we had a quick 10 minute window to take pictures without all the droves of people.

There are 16 windmills here, and their primary function was to mill wheat up until the 20th century. Located adjacent to the town, all the bars and restaurants are a very short walk away.

Have you ever traveled, taken a bite of something, Have you ever traveled, taken a bite of something, and thought, “I would hop on a flight and come back just for this?”

The Gnocchi Al Ragou at the Paraj restaurant in Mykonos was an unexpected delight. I took one bite and knew that this would become an instant food memory. The sauce was just out of this world and I can’t wait to come back for seconds.

Scroll to the end for the receipt to get a realistic look at what a meal in Mykonos might cost you!

Have you ever walked an ancient archeological site Have you ever walked an ancient archeological site?

Not only did we get this island (mostly) to ourselves this day due to the rain, but we found out this is the mythological birthplace of Artemis and Apollo!

Two things I loved about this island; the cat sightings (which are very common in Mykonos) and the beautiful wildflowers too 💐🪻🌼

Delos Island was listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1990 and is said to have been inhabited since the third millennium BC. It was a natural meeting ground for the Delian League after the end of the Persian wars, around 470 BC, and was utilized until the 8th century AD when it was eventually abandoned. It is probably mainly due to its lack of natural resources and limited water supply.

Happy New Year! Let these beautiful ocean picture Happy New Year!

Let these beautiful ocean pictures act as a ✨timeline cleanse ✨ as we step into 2026

I’m back to share all that I’ve been letting pile up in my photo album. The fear of posting the perfect post, and the overwhelming tasks that come with being a newer mom with a full time career has often caused me to put this page on the back burner. I can’t believe my last post was from July 🥲 But it’s a shame to keep wonderful memories hidden.

I’m stepping into 2026 with more intention. Without waiting for things to be perfect before I attempt them. That goes for…pretty much everything in my life now.

Some of what I’ll be posting will be from this past year, and some will be in real time. I have so much that I can’t wait to share!

By the way, these pics are from an excursion you can take to Delos Island. If you’re already in Mykonos, it’s a very easy relatively short day trip. I recommend it!

Just arrived at the legendary Delos Island! We mad Just arrived at the legendary Delos Island! We made it through the rain, and it turned out to be a welcome change from the busy Mykonos vibe.

I found the island to be quite stunning, with its quiet coastline and sacred ruins scattered across the hills.

Even without fully exploring the ruins yet, just arriving here and seeing the stone shoreline and that gorgeous teal water made me calm.

Switzerland definitely caught me off guard…in the Switzerland definitely caught me off guard…in the best way. I just didn’t realize how much I needed a moment like this until I was up in the clouds, looking out over the peaceful green hills and quiet little towns. The view was simply unreal. It felt like everything just slowed down for a second.

There was this calm that hit me while flying over the countryside. No noise, no stress, just that quiet kind of beauty that sticks with you. I already know I’ll be back. (I didn’t spend nearly enough time there for a proper visit.)

If you’ve been thinking about taking a trip or pressing pause on everything, this is your sign.

Save this post for when you’re planning your next escape. And if you’ve been to Switzerland before, drop your favorite spots in the comments so I can add them to my list.
