We ate at Rosa Negra, my second time there, and I would suggest you skip it. The service was terrible and the manager was very rude to me which really threw me off. But at least I got a cute picture of the cheesecake 🤷🏽‍♀️

After the negative experience, we left and started walking down the road to search for the next place, but the night was a little on the dead side. We did see a colorful light display though. Tulum has a lot of interesting art installations, and it’s a great place to explore!

We got back in the car and went to a @blackintulum event in Downtown Tulum and had a great time! I would definitely check out their events again next time I’m in town.

In the last video, you can see our beautiful Airbnb, which I was sad to say goodbye to 😕

Took a quick road trip to Corozal, Belize and kept Took a quick road trip to Corozal, Belize and kept it simple! Good views, cold drinks, and a break from the usual routine. Between the calm waterfront, palm trees, roadside fruit stands, and a round (or two) of shots, it was the kind of day that doesn’t need much explaining.

For a small town, Corozal carries a lot of history. Once part of an ancient Maya settlement and later a refuge during Mexico’s Caste War, it’s a place where past and present quietly mix. It’s not flashy, but that’s what makes it worth the stop.

Am I the only one who loves road trips?! While in Am I the only one who loves road trips?!

While in Tulum, our group decided to take an impromptu road trip to Belize, and I’m so glad we did!

Before we got to the Belizean border, we stopped at Bacalari, the boutique hotel, to eat at the restaurant for breakfast. The interior had a beautiful mix of Mayan and Moroccan design, and the food was great!

As pictured, some of the things we ordered included enchiladas, avocado toast, chilaquiles, and a fruit bowl.

✨Heaven On Earth! ✨ After strolling through t ✨Heaven On Earth! ✨

After strolling through the coolest museum ever, I thought the surprises would end there. We put our shoes back on, ventured outside along a dirt path, and when we rounded the corner, we found paradise!

Again, please don’t limit yourself to just the beach parties of Tulum. This region has so much more for you to discover!

In the heart of the Mayan Jungle, I found the most In the heart of the Mayan Jungle, I found the most INTERESTING museum I have ever been to.

If you are visiting Tulum, get away from the beach and the parties for a bit, and visit Azulik Uh May - City of Arts.

This installation was called “Every Tree is a Civilizing Entity” by Ernesto Neto.

While visiting, you are required to go barefoot, which further adds to the experience. Being here, I don’t think I had felt so calm and connected to nature in ages.

If you listen to any of my Tulum recommendations, this is the #1 place I would suggest, and I’m excited to return soon!
